Anyone else notice on 24-7 episode 3 Floyd Mayweather wore padding on his ribs??

Think that photo was from the most recent 24 7 episode.

How does Ortiz bust up someone's shoulder with his jab? He has the typical southpaw jab that's mostly there for setting up other punches. There's nothing devastating about it.

 

Ortiz is naturally right handed, so he has power in that right jab, he would throw the jab to the shoulder the way that Chris Byrd did against Both Evander Holyfield and Vitali Klitschko, and note that in both of those fights both fighters came out with Shoulder injurys....

if your hitting on that spot the upper chest area where that shoulder is sooner or later the rotater culf is going to give and when that happens out the door goes Floyds left hooks and his jab....

Watch those Byrd fights and you will see exactly what I am talking about...

Not only that but as a southpaw if he does that, the force of the shot alone will make Floyds body square up so if he shoots a straight left hand down the middle as he jabs that shoulder Floyd will be eating a left hand...

But I expect Floyd to come in with both of his hands high as they were after four rounds of confusion from Judah, once Floyd brought that left hand up high he took away that southpaw advantage Judah had early on.....

But if he comes in with it low, I would defently advise Ortiz not to go for the head, go for that shoulder area he cant move his body like he can his head....

There was an interview a while back with Floyd in the back of his limo/car and he pulls up his shirt and shows the interviewer the bone sticking out.

 

Maybe Hatton did it. Who knows but it looks like my trainers broken rib. So much for all of this glass body Pac talk anyway.

Interesting...that looks pretty bad.

I doubt Ortiz will get much of a shot to exploit that weakness...Floyd will be picking him apart at long range for the whole night, and even when Ortiz gets in close to rough him up, Cortez will instantly separate them like he did in the Hatton fight. Ortiz's chances were already low, but the referee selection makes it even worse.
