Yes. I noticed that. Corner didn't do Mike any favors there. The guy was clearly already out on his feet. Personally, I have a bit of a problem with a corner shrugging that off and sending him back out there. If you don't know where the F you are, that is a serious problem and sustaining more punishment to the head could cause a permanent brain injury. Just IMO. If Mike would have ended up like McClellan, it would be on Mike's corner.
It looked like he wasn't really listening , he was either very frustrated having been knocked down , or he was still buzzed which is very possible
Mike was lucky it was the end of the round. Dude was out. If there was 60 seconds left in that round, Mike doesn't make it. Just IMO.
Yea tough call on the corner, and from the way the fight had played out until that point u would think sending him back out would be dangerous. Then he puts Marquez down in the 8th. Only a flash kd but u gotta love this sport.
And yea he is lucky it was end of the round causes marquez may very well b the best finisher in the sport
