got an e-mail today saying my application has been unsuccessful, pretty pissed off!!, i bet tickets had gone to some rich casual sports fan who had the funds to apply for hundreds of quids worth,,!!:bart

they should have based the applications for niche sports on who had attended amateur and pro shows over the years and spent thier hard earned cash supporting the sport that they love!!, not some dodgy ballot system.

    rant over..

    anyone else had similar experience??

    Yep, both the semis.

In total I applied for £1,500 of tickets, recieved a grand total of nothing.

Yep got nothing. Applied for 4 tickets to the firsts days worth of finals (I think) with the Middles and heavies. £400 in total

Won **** all. Oh and i've spent the last month and a half trying to balance my bank accounts to make sure i've had the £400 in there as it was due to come out at any time they decided would be good for them, without any notice and if I hadnt the money in there my tickets would go to somebody else.

I hope the ****ing whole Olympic games fall flat on its face. Bomb scares, Rail Strikes, food poisoning the ****ing lot. Wankers!

Me too, I applied for tickets for eight of the sessions, a mixture of cheap and expensive tickets, and got bugger all.

yep, it's a shame mate,,bit strong with the bomb scares,,but the rest i'll support--i hate seb coe - he thinks he's some kind of super-ambassader for the countries goodness. He's just a government controlled lap-dog who's never been told no!--grass roots my arse!!--he's been wrapped up in cotton wool ever since his expensive education finished and daddy brought him his first porsche!

oh well, get trashed on your spare £400 quid and treat yourself to ringside seat on a pro show.:good

support the fans who keep the sport alive!!

I have a feeling football wasn't close to selling out, as expected. It was one of the ones they said I could apply for in second chance along with athletics, basketball, handball, hockey and volleyball.

I've lost motivation to apply now after finding out they were selling unballoted tickets abroad, and seeing the amount of corporate to some events (75% for 100m final for e.g.). Plus I'm on holiday and wont be wanting to find a PC to apply.

Stuff it, I'll watch at home on a nice TV.
