Nothing - tried for some cheap and expensive ones, early rounds and finals and got FA ! On the bright side though they have announced today that there is a second round of ticket releases next week and there are some boxing tickets available; top prices in some of the womens matches......

I applied for 9 sessions (mostly for the early stages and the cheapest tickets in each) and luckily I've been told I've been successful. However which tickets I've been successful in getting I've no idea, although apparently I'll know prior to June 24th. For all I know I may have only got 1 session for the round of 32.

Hopefully those of you who've been unable to get tickets so far will be able to pick some up (and not have to pay touts for the pleasure)

Have they taken the money out of your account yet for the tickets?

I'd guess so but I can't check my English bank account while in Ireland, I stupidly haven't set up online banking yet and atm's only let me withdraw money not check my balance(a frustrating situation).

    So no idea...

    I got this email today:

"Congratulations! We are delighted to confirm that you have been allocated some or all of the London 2012 Olympic Games tickets you applied for. You have been charged only for the tickets you have been allocated.

We are currently updating your account. We will be in touch prior to 24 June 2011 to confirm the details of which tickets you have been allocated.

We had an overwhelming response for Olympic Games tickets, with 1.9 million people applying for more than 20 million tickets. We are sorry if you did not receive all of the tickets you applied for - across all sports, two-thirds of price categories were oversubscribed and went to ballot. However, there will be further opportunities to purchase tickets between now and the Games.

This starts with an opportunity for you to request some of the remaining tickets from 6am on 8 July to 6pm on 17 July 2011. These tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and cover a great range of Olympic sports Download the full list of available sports

During this second chance sales window you will only be able to submit one application, and you will be able to apply for a maximum of three sessions. Once you submit, you will receive an email confirming your application. We will advise you which tickets you have been allocated within 24-48 hours, subject to successful payment. All payments will be taken between 18 and 21 July 2011.

If you have any questions regarding your Olympic Games ticket application, please visit Frequently asked questions

    Best wishes
    The London 2012 Ticketing team"

I would bet money that half the tickets have gone to corporate sponsors and **** who have no interest in the sport and that the other half have gone to people who live in london

My mate has got some. He applied on our behalf. He thinks Two rounds of mens and possibly one set of womens. He thinks he must have selected the womens by mistake.

The whole system seems ****ing woeful.

well done for the tickets mate,,still seems a bit **** poor that they are also offering ther remaiming tickets to people that have already won some though????,surely it would make more sense to only offer the extra's to the people that havn't .
i hold no grudges but am still pissed off that they apologise that you havn't managed to recieve all of them?

There are no cheap tickets for the men's event, so we're going for football, semi-finals at Wembley. We got the opening ceremony tickets in the ballot.

I just went through my online bank statements for the past month. They took out £20 about three weeks ago - which means that all I have have been allocated is one ticket for one of the early boxing sessions. I was really hoping for the opening ceremony tickets.

But, from my experience you will be able to buy tickets each day during the Olympics from various ticket booths, except finals and semi finals.
