Anyone else picking Nicky Cook for the upset?

    Yep totally agree mate.

Against Martinez when Ricky traded and threw with aggression he does carry a dig the boy. It's amazing how Cook's career has just fell apart it's rather sad to see although i'm sure certain Scott Harrison fans will disagree .

I don't think Cook was ever quite world class, but he certainly didn't take the Martinez defeat too well anyways. I think when you saw him getting pasted around by Luevano it wasn't exactly the most encouraging sign in terms of punch resistance, I mean, Luevano doesn't stop people, Cook's like his only stoppage win in his last like 10-12 fights or something. I'd hate to think that his ability to take a shot has deteriorated even further, I wouldn't like to see him getting stopped while being used as a stepping stone.

Yeah Steve rarely got people out of there but Nicky made him look like a beast that night. I remember his ring walk he was shocked because it was half empty as he walked to ring. Lots of his fans weren't in the arena because of traffic and he went out there and got pasted.

The Martinez fight IIRC he was working well but always looked like falling apart quick IMO and did in round 4. He looked frail on the scales yesterday from my POV.

The odds on that particular bet are a bit weird - about 7 or 8-1 and for any other round it's at least double that. I dont think i'll be putting my money on it, but it seems a lot of people agree with you...

Burns looks like hes going to be massive on the night, hes done a great conditioning job...size differential might be the leveller here, Burns being nearly 4 inches taller and the naturally heavier man. Either Burns UD or stoppage from half way
