Boxing is never coming back. No one knows any boxers name anymore because the sport is dysfunctional and everyone in the sport all play the short game and give zero effs about the long game. Which fighters are going to give the sport relevance in 3 to 4 years? How many fighters 27 or under have any meaningful hype? It seems as soon as a guy does get hype, he fights once a year. I get it, it is a MFer of a career to choose and it's logical to start thinking of long term health when you now have long term money in the bank.
It makes sense why. Kids don’t watch tv like the generations before them. They grow up watching YouTube.
