I've never seen a fight live and I hope to at some point. However, I've only been paying attention thoroughly to the sport for a short time compared to most on here, so watching it on TV gives me a better opportunity to learn what's happening out there(due to commentary and replays) then going to a live fight.
I've never been to a Vegas fight. I plan on going to Mayweather-Pacquiao, though, if only for the ability to say "I was there." I can always download a copy of the broadcast and watch it later if visibility is a problem. Actually, I'm going to be in Vegas for JMM-Diaz 2 so I may as well go catch that.
exactly , sounds like theres too many nerd's on here who are scared to get out in the real world n would prefer to sit with there curtains closed to the world. alot of u are saying u wud prefer to watch at home when u aint even witnessed boxing live before. watching it live is better your there going through the motions of a fight with thousands of people (jumping up and down or everyone sitting there thinking... ****) or even at smaller events u there in a very good seat seeing it all right in front of your eyes. u can watch boxing on TV pretty much everyday of the week nothing beats being there.
I agree, though I'd like to go to more fights(I've only been to one and thats because I was working at the event),i would rather watch them at home, because you can see ev'thing going on betwen the fighters, nobody standing in front of you and things like that.I watched May/Shane at a restaurant but rather had been home.
Sounds like the sports bar I was at in Houston during PBF-Hatton. We might have been at the same place.:yep:good
Exactly. My friends like boxing and all but u know there is talking and all that going on which distracts you. Its fun so i will watch it with friends and then sunday i will watch it as i usually record them. Thats when i have a chance to listen to all the comments and post fight interviews. Then they get saved and watched again when im stressed or when im bored. I will just crack a beer and watch hours of boxing. Man i love boxing. My old DVR broke and it had so many fights on there. It was probably close to 100 fights there.
