I just think its a great fight that makes sense. Price, with his wins over a surging David Allen and undefeated Kash Ali, is as close to being a contender as he has ever been. Chisora is really the new Bert Cooper: a guy who doesn't always wins the big ones but is a legit fringe contender and always makes it exciting. The winner of this fight seems like he has done enough to earn a shot (or, in Chisora's case, another shot). And it has the hype of a good domestic dust-up.

If Price takes it, he ought to see how Fury-Wilder turns out. His name was, in the past, mentioned with both, though more typically Fury.

Chisora-Fury 3 makes little sense, but a fight with Wilder, Joshua, or especially Ruiz would sell tickets.

I think it is an example of great matchmaking that elevates fighters, and the division really needs it.

My prediction is for Del Boy, but Pricey is a live dog.

Why? No need to see how it turns out. Regardless of the outcome there's only one viable option, Fury.. if Wilder wins or doesn't win, never mention his name in public and if the fight is offered to him, retire. Do you want to see Price killed? Why would you even entertain the thought?

I am sorry, Wilder is not all that good. His record against pastry chefs, school teachers, soccor hooligans, and the medically unfit sure does not impress me. I think Fury beats him anyway, so its a moot point.

Fury almost got decapitated by Wilder. What do you think would happen to Price?
For ****s sake, Price got KTFO by Hammer, Teper and Thompson. How exactly is he any better than Duhaupas, Ortiz or Molina?

Price doesnt have the power he used to have pre-Thompson. Since he lost that invincibility he lost a lot in terms of ability to take an opponent out clean early.

Chisora is the exact type of fighter that is a nightmare for Price. High pressure and goes for the knock out.

Chisora will take Price out in under 6 rounds. Just aggression and pressure will be enough. Price only lasted against Allen because Allen came in hungover and barely threw anything. Plus isnt skilled enough to work his way onto the inside.

Spot on, Wilder would send Pricey out of the ring on a stretcher, he's way to fast and powerful. Wilder's right hand just might decapitate the slow, hittable, lumbering Price. Pricey has been stopped by Kuzmin, Povetkin, Hammer, Teper, and Thompson twice. The poor guy would most likely end up in a coma vs Wilder. Nobody in boxing wants to that fight happen.

And Wilder has been downs against Scoiners and that Dustin Nichols. Did we forget that he has been involved in at least one fake fight?

He almost decapitated Fury? I only saw that they had one fight, and while Fury, while not at all in top shape, did go down a couple if times, he got right up. So are we talking about a sparring match that I don't know about or something?

Yeah, no ****, but that doesn't keep him from nearly hospitalizing everyone who shares the ring with him, including nearly decapitating Fury in the 12th. Now tell me, who exactly has David Price beaten? Ah... exactly, no one of note. He's lost to every half way decent fighter he's shared the ring with, including Tony Thompson, who KO'd him twice, who Ortiz KO'd.

David Price would have his head torn off of his shoulders by Wilder, if you don't think so, then you're delusional. Even Wilder's most ardent haters wouldn't pick Price to last more than 2 or 3 rounds tops with him.

As far as a Fury victory somehow being a forgone conclusion, with Wilder, nothing is a forgone conclusion.

So you are betting on something that happened 9 years ago(Sconiers)?
You honestly think Wilder is still the same as he was back then? That he hasn´t improved at all?
And even so, why does it matter that he got knocked down a decade ago? He got back up and won those fights via KO.
In that same time frame, Price has been stopped 6 times.

I don´t see how WIlder bullying the mentally challenged Zeleneoff has any relevancy in this discussion.
And you know what I meant by Fury getting "nearly decapitated". But for clarification, I was talking about the final round where it looked like Fury just got KTFO. You think Price would have gotten back up as well?

Price is clearly on the same level as those "pastry chefs and school teachers" WIlder has been fighting. Yeah, they hurt WIlder but none of them even scored a KD. And they all lost via KO.
:lol:But somehow WIlder-Price makes sense because of Charlie Zelenoff. Wtf?

That was a decade ago vs Scoiners and Nichols. He was extremely raw and early in his career. He started boxing at 20 and had like 30 anatuer fights. The Scoiners and Nichols fights were after he had been boxing for a total of just 5 years. Clearly he has made massive strides in the last 10 years since then. It's apples and oranges.

His entire career is basically a fraud. He seeks out medically unfit opponents. Which of his fights was supposed to have impressed me? The one where he clearly lost to Fury, who had only just lost 150 pounds? The one where he beat the aging Cuban who was barely medically cleared to fight? Please. Stop. He is hardly the bridge too far, and I fully expect Fury to stop him next time out.

I am not going to argue it all night. I will just put you guys down as "no, not excited,"

The point here isn’t about Wilder and just how good he is. His resume is laughable for someone with 10 title defences. He has fought only a few actual top contenders.

The point is Price not being any better than Duhaupas, Molina, Stiverne or Ortiz. Which he is clearly not. Price has been brutally KTFO on several occasions and his best wins are A-Fraud Harrison and Dave Allen. Just exactly is he going to be a good fight for Wilder?

I really am excited for that match. When was the last good heavyweight fight?

Plus, the event is in the UK, so I can watch it live here in Europe.

Please don't mention Wilder and Price in the same sentence. It's the worst thing that can happen to Price. I literally mean it, his life would be in danger. Probably agaist Joshua too. Price would be better off against Fury or Ruiz, however, I expect Chisora to win. Can't wait for the fight!

No I'm not excited in the least and I'm from the UK.Had it been Parker the original opponent I'd be up for this as Chisora of late always brings it.Price on the other hand looks gassed after two rounds and I'm not even joking.
