I'd much rather watch Fury outbox an ATG using a limited but effective amount of punches than watch Joshua or Haye pummell a tomatoe can! The fact Fury could beat a fighter the calibre of Wlad without using a high punch output shows the sheer class of Fury's head movement and feinting. Boxing is the art of hitting and not getting hit. Fury exhibited that art in Germany better than any other heavyweight in the world could have against Klitschko. It's hard to know whether people are uneducated or bitter. Probably both.
Good post The lies about Fury are due to jealously, lack of boxing knowledge and racism towards gypsy's
Big fan of Fury, went to see him last time wasn't sure if he could do it then but really fancy him this time.
I'm excited. Yeah there wasn't much action in the first, but there was some good boxing, and for me it was tense as **** wondering when Wlad was finally gonna unload his right. He didn't do it, but the threat was always there, as it will be here. For Tyson to get properly recognised he needs Wlad to not retire and get a win over another top guy, otherwise the question of age diminishing him will always remain.
I'm interested in seeing what the two fighters will bring in the rematch. I'm hoping Fury can improve on his performance and surprise the doubters again (i'm a former doubter myself !), and I'm hoping Klitschko puts the pressure on this time. Not quite "excited", because as others have mentioned, it was a dull fight first time.
He fought with zero urgency until the last round or 2, and even then was quite tentative. Personally I put that down to Fury's defensive work (and rocking W with a nice counter) but a lot attribute it to Wlad losing his edge.
