I know Forbes' chances are slim, seeing that he has no chance in hell to win a decision against DLH's judges and he lacks the power to KO DLH.. but man... I hope he somehow beats DLH. Anything to stop his rematch with PBF. What a ****in joke that fight is!

After all the great fights we had to finish 2007, I was excited about the potential megafights we could have in 2008, but Oscar and Floyd have already ruined the rest of 2008 for me! Their rematch has created a chain reaction of crap fights in the WW division. Garbage like Cotto vs Gomez is happening because of Floyd and Oscar.

After the Hatton fight, Floyd talked about how it wasn't about money anymore. Is that why he's choosing to fight Oscar again? To take only one fight in 2008 and it's against an aging cross-dresser he beat convincingly the first time? This is the p4p #1 of our sport, folks. He keeps talking about retiring... well ****... I don't even care anymore.. Retire then! Maybe then we can finally get some real fights at welterweight! I mean.. I don't want to see the best boxer on the planet retire, but this guy is hijacking the most talented division in boxing! Every fighter in the division is waiting on him.

Go Forbes! Knock Oscar's ass out! This is for boxing!!!

If a Forbes victory kills any chance of a De La Hoya / Mayweather rematch I'm all for it.

I personally have no interest in an Oscar-Floyd rematch. The first one wasn't anything to get excited about and it exceeded my expectations. The second one will probably be less entertaining and less competitive. No interest here in that match.

Having said that I'm still pulling for Oscar. An Oscar-Floyd rematch=big interest in boxing. Boxing could use more "superfights" to attract new fans and possibly new young boxers.

I don't know if the rematch is holding up too many marquee match-ups anyways. If Floyd doesn't fight Oscar I don't think he'd be in the ring at all this year. Oscar, no matter how much he says he is, isn't going to fight at welter so he's not holding up anything in that division. He doesn't belong at middle and jr middle has very little to offer in terms of big fights for Oscar to interfere with. Since they aren't going to fight either at all or anyone of note to begin with they may as well fight each other and maybe give boxing a small boost in the arm.
