He had an off look in his eyes before the fight even began imo

Funny how people still see Fury as a soft goofy dude but he ain't, he's an animal in the ring.

for sure! End of the second round just before the bell went, think Wilder landed a couple of good shots, Fury took them and then mauled wilder into the ropes. That was the moment Wilder knew he was in too deep for me. Then obviously he got a monumental beating after that.

I saw the fear right after Fury shoved like a ragdoll in that face off.

He did show fear but it wasn't cowardly fear like AJ in Ruiz 2, it was reasonable fear and he stuck in there and didn't quit like some other recent heavyweight champions have.

Yes. The way Fury set about him from the get-go rattled him because it was at that exact moment the realization dawned on him that Fury's pre-fight talk of taking the fight to him and knocking him out wasn't just mind games.

Furydamus told him exactly how it was going to go down and that's exactly how it went down

But, as you say, by round two he knew he was doomed

I think also at the beginning of the 3rd round Fury clipped him coming in behind the jab, that shot doesn’t really get talked about but I have a suspicion it did more damage than people think. Wilder was spent shortly after and almost got himself knocked out at the end of the round obviously.

Lol the fight went completely against his expectations. He thought he would get the same Fury as the first fight i.e. dancing around, jabbing, not sitting on his punches, fighting from a distance. He was completely and utterly shocked at how strong, relentless and more accurate Fury was in the rematch. He had absolutely no answers that night and the only thing which saved him throughout his career was useless and defused.

As soon as Fury hit him you can clearly see he was discouraged.
