David Haye and Naseem Hamed

Mouthy Brit - trash talking - saying he is the best.

Big puncher - exciting - but can be very sloppy.

But - seems a bit luke warm on being a boxer - inactive - only fights once every 6 months these days for a pay cheque.

Both fighting away from home against the best.

Put off - having the most challenging and competitive fight of their careers until the very end of their careers against the best in the divisions despite the fight being mooted for a long time - Hamed and Barrera took about 5 years to finally happen after first being mentioned - Haye on a fast track route to retirement has taken 2 years for the fight to happen after being intitally set up -so even if they lose and the circus comes to a end - they can lick their wounds and retire with a career high payday.

Poor preparation for the fight - inside the live ring - Haye hasent fought for nearly 8 months - and that was against a very poor opponnet and his other fight before that was a further 7 month before against John Ruiz- sparring can only bring you so on so much - likely he may not be so sharp once in a competive fight against the divisions best and I expect Wlad to be too sharp for him. As Barrera was clearly more sharp and fine tuned than Hamed and that was clear from the very 1st round.

Haye likely to lose and drop out of the limelight to lick his wounds and never be heard from again.

Haye likely to be pictured in McDonalds or Burger King a couple of years from now - a bit depressed how his career ended - and unrecognsiable as he has bloated to 21 stone in weight as he lives of Double Whopper and Cheese and Fries and Coke and McFlurry Ice Creams and hasnet seen inside a boxing gym for years.:good

I'm fully aware it was his first fight in the division.

He done 15 days of weights to bring his body up solidly to 9 stone.

And he proved the best featherweight in the world in his 1st fight at the weight.
