Anyone else see these two possibilities for Floyd?

After seeing Victor Ortiz take Berto's title with Floyd in attendance, I can envision a scenario where he takes a fight with Ortiz to try and take his title. I certainly hope a fight with Pac follows should he beat Ortiz(he'd be a heavy favorite..Mayweather and Berto or two different leagues).

    Problem is..
Both options can hurt a 35 year old Floyd.
Both Ortiz/Pacquiao are strong punchers who apply speed + power.

I'd recommended someone else as a "Warm-up" instead of a 24 yr old kid who would love nothing more than to prove himself vs. A vet... actually make the fight.

    Why not.

Floyd should retire, his age will catch up to him eventually and he will lose his whole rep just like roy jones.

I think Berto might be a good tune up for Mosely's next fight. I don't believe that guy was going to try and fight Shane? Shane would've KO'd him in the 2nd round!

I see him more like B-Hop. He is taking good care of his body so I can't see him age that fast.

I really don't think Floyd needs a tune up fight, he's always in shape and he does take good care of himself and hasn't fallen into drugs and alcohol like many others. Pac fight or nothing, that's what the fans want, put up or STFU in my opinion. Floyds all about the money, that's the only fight that will get him the biggest payday ever, I wouldn't be surprised if this fight gets done, especially if Pac is NOT dominate over Shane, but wins clearly.

If Floyd is active ortiz stands a miracle chance at mayweather but since floyd has been gone for 2 years, it will be a tough tough fight for floyd. Hell even pac active will have a hard time with ortiz.

I think Ortiz would be a good tune up for Mayweather.

It'll take til summer 2012 to get a Pac vs Money fight to happen anyway. But Ortiz? No more tune ups for Floyd! Fight Sergio or Cotto or don't bother fighting. Ortiz? I'm not paying for that. Money has been gone so long everybody's forgotten what kind of skill this guy has. Ortiz? Gimme a ****in break?
