I pride myself on the knowledge i have in this sport. I have seen countless fights. I know fighters from around the world. Fighters today. Fighters from the past but i always run into the same problem.

I can't make an ATG P4P list. I just feel i can't do it. Out of respect to the fighters? I can make a top 5. But apart from that everything gets blurry.:patsch

I know how you feel bro its hard to have a list of top p4p all time great fighters hands down number one is Sugar Ray Robinson but after Sugar Ray theres so many other names that come to mind and then you have fighters from different eras whos fought different opposition and then so many names just come to mind like Joe Louis, Archie Moore, Willie Pep, Muhammed Ali, Carlos Monzon, and Henry Armstrong just to name a few so your combining those guys all together so I understand I struggle as well

It's hard to do it in any sport but especially in boxing. It's hard to determine if guys from 50 or 60 years ago rank higher than guys today because if he fought a top fighter today he would get killed. Humans have physically evolved, knowledge of the sport and the fighting and training techniques have evolved so the fighters today are better. You could go by how dominant they were against the competition of their time but, what if their wasn't that much good competition during their time? There really isn't any correct way to make a list of top five ATG, it's just a matter of opinion.

In my opinion it should be a struggle to make an atg list. That's one of the great things about boxing.

hmm says... sometime in October 4-8 in Vegas, there will be a big boxing convention called "Greatest of All Time". This 3 day convention is a must as you will be able to interact and mingle with a whole shiet load of boxing stars, legends, etc. They will also have boxing exhibitions.

The main feature will be the unveiling of a new ATG list for each of the original 8 weight classes. The list has been comprised by experts and casual fans through votes for countless months. They will also dub who is 'The Greatest of All-Time'. So perhaps it won't be SRR.

Maybe, they have a list for P4P as well but definitely they will have a list worthy of checking out which will be a whole shiet load better than ESPN's.
