Well Im in my dorm room right now, but when I go home tomorrow for winter break I would be happy too.

For example, soe of the old newspaper articles are about the black murders row from the 30s, 40s, 50s. they post fight articles like archie moore vs eddie booker fight details , etc etc

Does that mean just separate articles, or are they series of pre-fight, fight report, post-fight coverage?

No like they photo copy articles from the newspapers at the time and put it in the journal. So for exaple you get to read the live 1944 post fight article on archie moore vs charley burley. the description gives you round by round details. Some issues are better than others. You defintley get to read about obscure fighters you hadvnt heard about before.

Nah, isn't worth it then for me. I have thousands of such articles myself. The problem is to analyze and build up a timeline.

They are too much to scan. If you need something in particular from Ring magazines (considering fight report is usually included in issue dated 2 or 3 months after the fight had taken place), ask away, I'll see if I can help.

ring magazine is sitting on a gold mine and they're too stupid, lazy or incompetent to use it.

ahem, SCAN AND UPLOAD ALL YOUR BACK ISSUES! then charge a monthly membership to search for articles and protect the pages so jackholes can't print them off!!! they'd make a freaking fortune doing this, and truly would be the greatest research tool on the net.

and before someone charges in here and say there's no complete history there's supposed to be one at the ibhof.

I'm not sure the owners of the magazine even have all old issues anymore. It is also funny that their official site links to boxrec encyclopaedia for magazine covers.
