Anyone Else think 40 yr Pac Has a chance against Spence?

Pacquiao never doubt this guy anymore. If he decides to fight Spence it's because he knows he can beat him. Let's see who Pac chooses. At the end of the day it's up to Pac.

From a fan point of view. Spence doesn't really impress me as much as Crawford. He is just big for the weight.Both him and Crawfords resume are horrible fought nobody of note.

 

Spence puts a beating on Pac and ends his career.

 

I voted a yes for Pac, not because I think he would be the favorite, but because I think he does indeed have a pretty good chance at beating Spence.
Spence is good, and still has room to improve, but he has a long way to go before he is anywhere near Manny's level. I am not saying he can't become one of the elite few, but this is like Dak Prescott vs Tom Brady.

 

No doubt, but Manny also has more firepower and moves better than Mikey so Spence will have to at least show some respect. He didn’t need to show Mikey respect because the game plan was very solid (to box Mikey). They could fight 100 times and the outcome would be no different. Okay, if Spence out his foot on the gas and if Mikey took more chances, Mikey could have been KOd. Like the previous guy said, it’s hard to beat a guy who is fighting to “not lose” as Mikey was fighting. He won the moral victory but they don’t give you a strap for that one. Not yet at least.

 

Why not outbox Mikey for 6-8 rounds and then stop him? You're stoned if you think Spence carried Mikey to prove a point. Spence tried to KO Mikey, but couldn't.

 

Good chance, not sure he outboxes pac, maybe as pacs reflexes seem shot but doubt it. Also depends on if he can take pac’s Power, something that is just severely underestimated by everyone. Thurman fought some punchers but only Pac put him down and nearly stopped him.

Biggest worry is pacs work rate.

 

Pac fading in the second half of the fight was quite worrisome.

 

Prime Pac gets stronger as the fight wears on. If he can't do that against Thurman then what chance does he have against Spence, who wears his opponents down.

 

Mikey is younger and has better defense, no way old Pacquiao can handle it unless if he's still on those peds.

 

Pac could pose some trouble early but thats about it. At 40 Pac simply doesnt have the gas tank to keep up with Spence.

Imo Pac should just retire on a high after beating Thurman and boxing fans should demand to see the Spence-Crawford fight cause thats the fight that needs to happen.

 

I'll never write Pac off....and I've yet to be sold on Spence. Pacman 7 rounds to 5.

 

He clearly wasn't trying to stop him. He did carry him and it did prove a point. Spence has elite boxing skills. What round was he pushing for a knockout in your opinion?

I think it’s a close fight even right now. Spence is basic and he doesnt bring anything Pac has never seen before. He is big but Pac has the speed and ring smarts to neutralize that.

Spence is overrated
