That is a top post. Bellew has all of the basic advantages you'd want to have as a boxer going in to a fight and for that reason I expect Bellew to dictate the pattern of the fight if he is disciplined with his game plan. The key is obviously to avoid Steveson's left hand in the first half of the fight but I do think Bellew will manage to shut up shop and out jab him. I genuinely believe Bellew has unsettled Stevenson and I've got a sneaky feeling that at some point during the fight Stevenson's emotion will get the better of him and he'll get reckless and give openings square-on. And if and when that happens Bellew smashes him and his world caves in. Could be wrong but I've just got a sneaky feeling Bellew is going to do it...
Lol you guys are terribly biased when making predictions, dont get 'hope' and 'think' mixed up Bellew isnt doing shxt in this fight
Agreed. This is a fight that's not even worth debating or talking about intangibles, Adonis will KO Bellew any time he chooses. Adonis has the faster handspeed, footspeed, boxing technique and skills and hits far harder. If Bellew makes it out of Rd 1 it will be an achievement for him and i expect the KO to happen inside 3 or 4 rds.
Tony is a good boxer technically, you don't beat or lose close decisions to guys like Chilemba or Cleverly if you're not. Had he been fighting a Chad Dawson or Braehmer type i would say he would be in with a chance but Adonis is ALL WRONG for him in every way.
I disagree, I think Dawson would have been a very very tough fight for Tony. But I think he can outbox Adonis and I also think he will land at some point. We will see.
Bellew TKO11. Educated pressure. Forcing Stevenson to lead off and reach and Bomber to exploit mistakes. Bellew is decent at counter punching and has a good solid jab and can double it. Bellew's boxed bigger men over the years especially in AMs, and sparred big punchers. So he's in a good position going into this IMO. He may struggle with the speed early on. But if he can adjust and make it a tactical fight i think he can sap the fight from Stevenson..
