Not if he took a few solid fights like Angulo and Harrison prior to GGG.

I think we both believe Margarito would beat them both.:think

Margarito vs. Angulo at MW could be the slowest fight ever.

Errr Errr Who was it quit on his knees in submission to his master??? It was pinky Cotto
Cotto was wilting getting ready to repeat his kneel in submission act when that NY doc stopped the fight to save him the embarrassment. Cotto couldn't put away a blind in one eye Margarito. Did Margarito EVER look like he was Quitting??? No way Margarito is a MAN!! not a pretty in pink prima donna

I would think it's more likely to see Margo against Canelo should he beat Cotto, than against Golovkin.

And GGG wouldn't drop 5 pounds for Canelo . So now GGG has Floyd status, and Ward needs to go down for him now right? Ward is going to fight Kovalev next year, GGG refuses to go down to 155 to fight Canelo. He's still going to only have C+ level guy in Murray as his best win  in 2016. My prediction is he's going to retire 3-4 years from now and his resume will be 20 more Billy Joe Saunders and Andy Lees.

Margarito will get fed to someone to make a name off of but it won't be Golovkin.

Lemieux would run right through Margarito let alone what Golovkin would do to him.

Maragrito is pushing 38 and been off for almost 4 years. His best weight was 147 where his size was key. As he moves up he loses that advantage. I don't see anything great coming from his comeback.

He probably picks up a few minor wins on some of the smaller tv shows. Then he lands a bigger match up where he's brought in to lose to someone needing a big name on their record.
