Anyone else think Breidis Prescott's power is overrated?

Let's be honest, Kahn's chin would make Woody Allen look like George Foreman.

So, for Kahn's chin alone, I have to agree that Prescott's power is overrated.

Why is this even a topic??? ANY ****** could tell that Prescott's power was overrated pre/post Khan.

 

This just highlights the fact that Khan's jaw is as soft as ****. Frank Warren and the Sky commentators try to tell that Prescott is world class and he's going to be a world champion. Bull****.

 

How many fighters unbeaten in 19 fights with 17 ko`s are not seen as big punchers?Khan was the most notable win but he wobbled him with a jab and flattened him in one minute, even for a soft chinned Khan Prescott looked pretty strong dong it.

 

Is Barrera still the favorite?, when the fight was announced Barrera was the favorite then all of a sudden dropped and Khan became the favorite. Any updates there?

 

Khan is just a favourite. Not much in it.

It just shows how horrible Khan's Glass Jaw really is.

I think Barrera is the betting favorite, but I could be mistaken. He shouldn't be based on last night's result. I think that fight signified just how badly in trouble Khan will be come March 14th, when he will be sharing the ring with a complete, albeit faded, fighter. It shouldn't be missed.

 

Totally outclassed.

 

Unfortunately for Amir Khan, Frank Warren, and least of all, Bredis Prescott, Toledo is a fighter you outclass and stop, not simply outclass.

 

In the boxing ring, then yes definitely. I heard that Ryan Seacrest has a chin made from powdered McVities Hobnobs (cookies), but he ain't a boxer.

 

A few things to consider, just to play devil's advocate.

Prescott was obviously straining last night for the KO instead of looking for openings and mixing up his attack. Part of this had to do with feeling the pressure of his "main event" basically turn into a walk out bout after Lara and Yuri had looked spectacular.

Second, he suffered a couple of nasty cuts off of Toledo's head butts. That threw him off as well.

Third, Khan's defense was so bad, he practically walked into Presscot's power shots. Toledo did a reasonable job last night of defending himself by keeping his hands high and crowding a young fighter whose inside game still needs lots of work, and who wasn't making any effort to tap his body.

My first thought was exactly the same as everybody else's, immediately take out a loan and drop it on Barrera. But it's rarely that simple.
