Anyone else think Breidis Prescott's power is overrated?

Im not sure what to make of Presscott. I can't say I was disapointed because he did dominate from very first round to last but at the same time, i was all that impressed.. A smaller Humberto Soto basically wiped the floor with Toledo and knocked him out early like it was nothing yet a much bigger presscott couldn't do the same. Maybe inexperience had something to do with it but yea his power wasn't what i was expecting.

Soto is smaller, but his technique is light years beyond Prescott at this moment. He's also an extremely physical fighter. Prescott strikes me as wanting to be more of a boxer-puncher.

I kind of felt like I was watching a sort of knock off version of Jorge Barrios. In fact, I'd LOVE to see those two mix it up.

:huh Prescott is nothing like Barrios. Barrios doesn't have much technique at all. He's someone who fights with his brute strength just like Deleon and Mayorga.. Presscott is a different type of fighter.

In a sense that both of them are always going for the KO, don't put their punches together very well and a generally ugly fighters to watch.

Breidis fought like a guy who was completely unaware of his stregnths, especially against a C- caliber sort of fighter.

He looked like garbage against that Abril guy also.

Maybe this is grand career strategy. Look so beatable against nobodies that you keep reeling in big names who are sure they are the better fighter.

How about Funeka - Prescott in the battle of huge lightweights?
