I think it will be competitive early on in the fight then Cotto begins to fade from the relentless pressure Marg will definitly bring. I'd say by round 10 or 11 Cotto goes down.

What happened when Marg came with "relentless pressure" against Williams and Clottey? Oh that's right, he ate flush shots while coming in. Marg can do this stuff against limited guys but not against the best.

Still, i could be wrong about this fight. There's no doubt Marg has a chance but i think it's a slim one. If Cotto decides to brawl, then it tips the favor to Marg. But if he's smart, he should box him from the outside.

    ^^^^^

This is exactly why it will be completely justified if people want to scream "overrated" when Cotto loses.

It might look as if one-sided per the scorecards but I expect every round to be challenging for Cotto.

    Cotto UD 117-111 nonetheless.

If he loses, then you will have a point.

Right. The Margarito who couldn't beat Paul Williams is going to UD Cotto. The same Margarito who was losing every round against Clottey until Clottey hurt his hand.

Yes, the smart money is to box, But don't forget. This is going to be a latin shootout! The blood will be boiling and they will slug it out good or bad for either fighter. Tough call on this one.

I put down some money on the UNDER 9.5 rounds for this fight. Was this a mistake? You guys think this fight will see 1 minute and 30 seconds into the 10th round or was is it going the distance?

Its stupid to say this will be an easy fight for both fighters.
I see Cotto maybe winning a SD after tasting the canvas a few times. Seriously do you think Margarito is just gonna let Cotto outbox him for 12 rounds without turning it up at all. Margarito throws alot of punches and they will land on Cotto. I know Cotto has a good chin even though people say he doesnt but Everything breaks with pressure.

I think Margarito is too determined to let this one be easy for Cotto but there is a difference in class and thta will determine this fight.

I say a SD. with Cotto tasting the canvas 1 or 2 times and maybe even dropping Margarito. We will demand a rematch then since this fight would be one of those fights that cant dissapoint kind of like Marquez-Vasquez.

Probably be a difficult fight for both fighters. I would not bet any money of this fight.

yeah I see Cotto beating Margo to the punch consistantly all night long, sharp straight punches get to the target faster than round looping punches.

He will also keep Margo off ballance with movement. Cotto is boxing in this fight, I don't think it is going to be the brawl that is expected.

You and every other boxing expert who predicts that this fight will be a one-sided fight for Cotto need to put your money where your mouth is, not spew the same old crap of "Cotto is a level above, Cotto by KO in 4, Cotto this..., Cotto that..." Bet like you talk. :deal
