I mean his only real Notable KO was against a Shot Taylor whos Mandibular structure is pretty much like an ancient Egyptian glass artifact that is so fragile it has to be handled with the utmost care or it will just fragment to pieces. Dont get me wrong, he does bring it, but he is talking about KO ing Ward when he hasnt knocked out anyone in a while.

Not too many at SMW hit significantly harder.

he has heavy hands, no doubt. Not explosive knock-you-the-****-out power but heavy hands that hurt and accumulate damage..

Not sure anyone thinks he is a massive puncher, so no his power isn't overrated. What people are saying is that he has more power than Ward. Should ward be hit cleanly (which is unlikely for me), Froch can hurt him.

But no-one is saying he is the biggest puncher at 168.

Only Bute hits harder at the weight imo.

And witht the quality of Foch's opponents, hes hardly going to be knokcing them down left right and centre is he?

i think he has decent power...it might be a bit over rated against elite fighters. i also think if he hits ward on the chin...ward will take it well

Froch himself seems to think he has amazing power when in reality he doesn't.

Just look at his boxrec stats: only 1 KO out of his 6 last fights.

I thought his power was overrated when he was a prospect. Not so much now though, you don't hear people claiming he has one punch KO power, which he doesn't...he does hit hard though, stinging, heavy hands.

At what point did he step up to World level? Stats can be very misleading, especially if you can't tell which opponents are world class or not.

There aren't too many fighters who'd be on a ko streak if they'd fought Froch's recent competition.

He's heavy-handed but doesn't have one-punch knockout power or anything. He has enough to get you out of there if the opportunity arises though.

yeah but look at his opposition, direll was a spoiler and on the run, abraham has a great chin, kessler has a great chin, johnson has a great chin, pascal has a good chin as well. this is top level opposition and almost all except direll had great or very good chins
