Theyre not serious shots, Hopkins is making good use of distance and not allowing Ornelious to get any leverage... but he still seems more willing than usual to just take the shots rather than try to slip them. I dont like what Im seeing, he should retire while he is still in good form cause he is slipping a bit.
Dawson is a bad style matchup for Hopkins, he would probably loose he doesnt like guys with speed. Hes ****ing 45 next month, why dont you answer my question instead of the typical general forum garbage.
I noticed that as well but its possible it was from ring rust and him going for the KO at the end of the fight.
It might also have to do with the level of opponent. Seeing that he is fighting a c class fighter, he might have put in just enough work at the gym. Regardless of what fighters say, I think they put in less work when they are fighting tune-ups against handpicked opponents.
Thats not the HOPKINS im use to seeing! He looked horrible in their but what bothered me the most was during the Post fight interview Hops said he felt good! Why would he say something like that when the whole world saw the opposite. Age could be creeping up on him or he just didnt get up for the fight
I thought he looked good. Yeah he got hit but the fight wasn't even close and the opponent was holding on at the end. Hopkins looked fine.
