Anyone else think it's a shame the most famous and best fighter in the world . . .

Darn. It's such a shame he's a complete nobody now. If only he'd change, people would know him then.

I think he's a troll, Shaunster. I wouldn't bother with him. He can easily take up four pages of your thread with pointless retorts that lead to nowhere.

You're a genuine ****** who has not once, and I repeat - NOT ****ING once grasped the actual question I posed in this thread. Even in the post I'm quoting here you're 100%, balls out, completely and utterly not getting it. You should be embarrassed. I sure as hell am for you.

Oh look, here's someone here who's just popped in the thread and understand the question straight away, without the need for 15 rambling posts of nonsense and straw-man arguments.

****. That was hard wasn't it.

You're either trolling or suffering from a learning disability. Either way, I'm done with you.

OMG, really? I could've sworn I answered that. About 10 times! The impact would be...NONE. NONE. I know it hurts you're whiny ass too much for you to comprehend but Floyd being a "nice guy"would only impact people's perception of him, not the sport.

Let that soak in! Or cry some more!

LOL @ troll. Because I'm pointing out to your wistful ass that how Floyd behaves affects the perception of him and not the sport? Are you so stupid to believe otherwise?

jack johnson wasn't a likable guy.

sonny liston wasn't a likable guy.

    cassius clay/muhammad ali wasn't a likable guy.

roberto duran wasn't a likable guy.

mike tyson wasn't a likable guy.

i can keep going but i think u get the point.

floyd isn't a success by accident. if he happens to turn the fans off...that's their problem, not his. it has absolutely nothing to do with what he brings to the ring. floyd realized a long time ago that he wouldn't ever be the "good guy" so he rolled with what he had. truth of the matter is that hate it what drives his numbers...much the same way it drove ali's numbers. ppl want to see him lose.

It's amazing how people don't see this. There was a time when Floyd was the "nice" guy. And just as skilled. Bottom line is, if he continued down that path, he would have never been famous. I think what the OP is too shallow to realize is that the issue doesn't lie with Floyd, it lies with the general populace.

It's hilarious that you're essentially arguing with yourself and flopping both sides of the coin at the same time. On one hand you're saying that a fighter's personality has NO IMPACT on the sport and only on himself, but in the next breath you are conceding that Floyd marketed this image to sell more PPVs and garner more exposure. I mean how much of a dumb **** do you have to be to fail to understand that? :rofl:rofl:rofl

It's amazing to see how dumb you are

Floyd's image may have affected how he was viewed, but not how the sport is viewed. He sold more PPVs, yes. HE. Is the sport now more popular or something? And is that predicated on his behavior? What a dumb fukk you are
