Anyone else think Jarrett Hurd could hang with GGG & Canelo at 160?!

    Would be brutal fights

While I wouldnt make him the fav I think he would give both guys hell of a fight...

GGG & Canelo crack so not sure how many flush shots he can take but Hurd is no.easy out for anyone at 154-160

    Hes also bigger then both...

Too weak technically. He gets outboxed and can't walk those guys down.

He's a good fighter but getting hurt by Lara makes me wonder if he has the punch resistance against those two

hurd is good, dont get me wrong., but imo canelo or ggg would bust hurd up. hurd is good but i just think his little tricks would back fire on him if he tried them out canelo or ggg. if ggg or canelo can tee off on hurd like these others guy have untill hurds realizes there a little tired and its time to push the pace a little more. it wont work out the way hurd wants it. he would get rocked before he even had a chance to enforce his game plan. either ggg or canelo would ko him or beat him by UD

I like Hurd, one of my fav active fighters rn, but I got no clue how he’d fair at mw, so for now GGG and Canelo roll him

I like Hurd, but logically speaking it would be very tough for him to beat GGG or Canelo at this point in time. He gets outboxed and probably stopped by both.

Give it a few years, and maybe he can take an old GGG ...

Hurd looks beatable, but its easier said than done LOL

Hurd is big and throws a ton of punches from awkward angles and he can crack himself.
Its hard to defend against him because you just don't know where the punches are coming from.

Even Lara struggled with that and GGG is very hittable, Canelo will not find it easy either

Hurds defense is average, but not as bad as is made out tbh. He rides punches well, so doesn't take the full force often.

GGG is the harder fight because he is so huge and has monster power with a great chin, but his age is getting up there.
Canelo isn't a walk in the park either though tbf. Canelo doesn't quite have the pop or chin of GGG tbh, but much slicker style and more machismo. (which tbf isn't a good thing when you are small)

I give Hurd a solid shot against both basically 50/50 vs Canelo and GGG would be the the minor favourite so 40/60 against GGG
Hurd KO's Jacobs IMO, styles make fights. Jacobs whoops GGG even worse now.....

    I somewhat agree

Hurd is no easy task for GGG or Canelo

Hes way bigger+stronger then GGG. That pressure may be too much for an old GGG

Canelo style wise matches up well he likes come forward fighters. But Hurds pressure is relentless & his high punch output he can win rounds off Nelo

    I wouod favor GGG/Canelo 60/40 over him

Also the thing is Hurd would eat a bunch of flush shots from these two guys who hit.hard as hell...

GGG ducked Lara so we can assume GGG will duck Hurd

I like Hurd a lot, but I think he gets stopped late by them both.

At this stage I reckon Hurd's too loose. He'd lose some of his size and power advantage even thought he's bigger than both and with his frame I'm sure his power will still be there at 160. G and Canelo have a lot of subtlety, power and iron whiskers.
