Anyone else think Juan Diaz is pure value at 3s to beat Marquez?

    He is the younger and fresher fighter and Marquez best years are well behind him and entire career built on his fights against Pac. Diaz can fight to a gameplan well as seen in the Katsidis fight and I trust he will be able yo outwork JMM this time who still has a punchers chance which was why he won the first but Diaz I think will be too much for him.


    Anyone else jumping into the 3s on offer?

    Nah.... I think it's about right.

    There is a bit of value obviously, but I don't see Diaz winning.

    He can fight to a gameplan but isn't as smart as Marquez and was a sucker for the lead uppercut and short right combination - look for more of the same en route to a 7th round stoppage for JMM.

    I have it a lot closer. Juan Diaz landed his left hook at will throughout and JMM just could not adapt. Credit he found a decent shot that got him the win but I think he has been in too many wars and can be outworked and Diaz has a great engine and will try to walk him down.

    The rest of the post is fair enough... Diaz was landing a lot of left hooks - but the bit in bold is wrong.

    Diaz does have a great engine but you do wonder what this fight took out of him, bearing in mind he was edged out over 24 rounds by Paulie, who is pretty average.

    Yes put £1000 you get £2000 back. Edit: just checked on betfair you can get 3.95 on Diaz but no liquidity to get anything matched really.

    Well Diaz has proved he can win rounds against Marquez early on, and an older Marquez might find it harder to dig deep again to turn the tide.

    Conversely that tide might not be as strong as in the first fight so he might not have to.
