Anyone else think Juan Diaz should drop down to fight PAC?

I can't imagine Pac doing this under any circumstances. He wants the glory that would come with winning the titles at 135 against a very good young fighter.

Nonsense. Pacman said he is considering going up to 135 and so he is being called out by the champion. Its that simple. And he comes in well over the LW limit. He would have no logical reason to ask for Diaz to come down to 130 (Where Pacman has no belts) instead of going up to 135 (where Diaz has 3 titles) unless he felt he can't beat him at LW. Pacman will make the same amount of money no matter what weight the fight takes place, so that has nothing to do with anything.

What matters is tipping things in your favor. That extra 5 lbs might make all the difference in the world if it affects Juan's conditioning or something. I give Pac little chance for a win if he fights Diaz at 135, but at 130, it looks a lot better. And the money is an issue for Diaz, not Pac. Pac'll earn whatever he wants, but the only fight that would give Diaz the 7 fig pay day is w/ Pac, so Pac holds all the cards.

The money will be the same for both fighters no matter where they fight. If anything, Diaz will make more if his belts are on the line. Coming down to 130, he loses everything.

Diaz doesn't need Pacman. He is 24, he has plenty of time to make money. He is unbeaten and a unified champion. He can make his own way. Pacman did.

I don't care what cards Pacman holds. If he says "I am thinking of going up to 135 because I am having trouble making 130, and then makes the LW champion come down to face him, then he looks like a punk. You keep trying to make it about the cards he holds...but public perception will be bad if Pacman says he can go to 135 for David Diaz, but needs Juan Diaz come to him at 130.

BTW....according to reports, Pacman mentioned Juan Diaz before Diaz mentioned him.

....if he wanted, but he couldn't box worth a **** at 126. Pacquiao can easily move up, Diaz wouldn't be so foolish as to move down.

If Pac want to raise his status as ATG, he needs to move up to 135 to Diaz :yep

Juan Diaz used to be a fat pudgy kid, I think he was near 100 pounds when he was 8, I can't imagine him going down much more. As far as pacquiao, he weighs like 140ish come fight night. Diaz would have a size advantage, but not nearly as one is expecting.

thats what Ive been thinking regarding this potential matchup. something like 132 maybe. But I dont know, I think there are enough good fights for Pac at 130 right now, that I dont really care if he moves up to make this fight happen, as long as Pac fights some tough fights at 130. With Pacs potential matchups at 130, I think Diaz needs Pac a lot more than Pac needs Diaz, so I dont think this fight will happen that soon, if it does happen.

Pac was the first one to talk smack by saying that Juan Diaz is easy to beat. Well let's see him put his money where his mouth is and see him fight Diaz.

Using that logic, he should fight PBF
