It's over at the Scene, he says "I don't need to fight no more....I will retire". make of it what you will but it does sound like he wants to pack it in, IMO I hope he doesn't but i'm not so sure where he can go from here, it sounds like he doesn't want it anymore:-(
He seems pissed at Arum and Cameron Dunkin but are which other big name promoters are going to be all that eager to sign him:huh i can't think of too many
hope so, the guys a clown. he'll probably retire for a year or so then make an ill advised comeback as a punching bag...what a loser
I don't think so. He woldn't have bothered training and trying to land big fights if he planned on quitting. I really think its just a business move, posturing, on his part. He's looking for the big fights and he is a "name fighter", so I think he will land something. I don't know if he will ever be great, so I would like to see him in with maybe... Kessler? Bute? That would show if he could own the division. Another option for him is to go up to LHW and have some progressively harder fights on his way back to a fight with Hopkins.
Retire, drink, make bad investments, burn through his money, then come back and be rendered unconscious.
