Honestly we dont know if Pac will beat Margo with only using one hand or if Margo walks through his punches and barries Pac alive. All I can say is Pac has some balls for taking on Margo, regardless of all the mess behind it. Its easy to talk **** and say everyone is on steroids or has too many losses. Floyd truely is a shame to this sport.

All i can say is Pac is in for a rude awakening, there were a number of occassions in Pacs fight with Cotto where Pac just covered up and gave Cotto the opportunity to attack his body but Cotto would only try to choose his shots, at some point Pac will have to stop in front of Marg, that relentless pressure Marg applies will certainly drain him at some point,

Now if you just cover up and allow Marg to get off he won't choose his shots he will punch any and every part of pac and those uppercuts of Tony's are very effective, i don't forsee a knockout in Pacs favor so i feel if Pac can box for 12 rounds in the middle of the ring that would be his best bet.

Everyone who counts Tony out talks of him either being slow (Hes pretty much always the slower fighter so what) or they bring up the Mosley fight, now Shane effectively used the hit and hold strategy in their fight, Pac is faster than mosely but i feel Mosely has the hardest single shot of the two and he basically beat Tony loading up with an overhand right,

Okay i have yet to see Pac hold in any of his fights, just not a tactic he uses, and he's a southpaw so no overhand right to worry about and the overhand left isn't his weapon of choice, Shane was strong enough to back Tony up, i doubt Pac can.

Manny to me only has two advantages in this fight, his handspeed and his ring IQ, we know Tony has the height, weight and reach in his favor, but he has the edge in workrate, strength and will (will is what got him this far), if Cotto with his not so solid chin can take punches from Manny for 11 1/2 rounds, then Marg should be able to absorb his punches and then some.

So yes in my opinion he has bitten off more than he can chew.

There's nothing in Margarito's last 2 fights that say he is a big threat to anyone who is at B level or better. He looks fabulous in training but the same can be said about Brock Lesnar prior to him getting smashed by a smaller man. The calm, almost cocky look in Pac's eyes in episode 3 of 24/7 is the same look I saw when he was preparing for Miguel Cotto. Biting off more than Pac can chew would entail a match with either Sergio or Paul. Margarito is not proven until he can beat an elite fighter without cheating. Best of luck to him though as shocking upsets are fun to watch.

Exactly. But that's a big IF. IF Pacquiao is at 100%, it'll be a wipeout. With Pac being at 100%, my prediction is that he'll chop Margarito up all night long en route to a late rounds stoppage. It'll be a stoppage that the ref or AM's corner deems necessary, not Marg himself. There is no quit in that guy, and I don't see him getting KO'd cold like Hatton, or becoming a track star when the going gets tough like Cotto, or playing punching bag like Clottey. So, in those regards, yeah, it looks to be a tough fight for Manny, but...:bbb

Pac is 100%. Confirmed. I hung out at Pac's condo yesterday and his former trainer Ben Delgado says Pac is ready. Team Pacquiao did their morning jog across the street at La Brea park in LA where my uncle and close family friend (good friend of Manny) told us to meet at 6am. After the jog and 1000 crunches later we were invited to his condo where we hung out the rest of the morning. Too bad Manny didn't come down from his bedroom. He's trying to avoid extra contact with people in fear of catching a cold or flu 7 days before the big fight.

    Pac is ready. :deal

Funny, 2 years back nobody, nobody could have even thougt that Pacquiao would have any chance to last 12 rounds against Margarito. I remember discussing back then before the Oscar fight how impossible it would be for him to handle welterweight, especially Margarito.

Now it is almost impossible to imagine Margarito winning this...

    Funny :)

I think AM wins late round TKO, I've said it from the beginning and all the talk and things I have seen simply confirm my intitail feelings about it. I respect Pac, but AM has accomplished alot too, only he's bigger, stronger, has reach advantage, is as experienced, has a better chin IMO, and has great stamina. The advantages that Pac has, would be condusive to a boxer winning a fight, but Pac isn't a boxer so I don't expect him to be defensive, protect his chin, move around the ring, clinch on the inside and essentially fight a "defensive" fight (which I think he could win easily). I think his arrogance is going to convince him that he can stand and trade, that he can get into a fire fight, and in this scenario the bigger, stronger man wins...IMO. I'll be the first on giving Pac his respect if he wins, I'll take my "you are a dumbass posts" all that, I just feel AM is too much, we'll see.

Mosley fight looked bad, but the Garcia fight? He won via unanimous decision, it's not like he got whooped. Margo pretty much clowned the guy, and it's not like he had to fight very hard with the ref in his pocket.

I think so. It's tough to see Pac ko or tko Margarito. How is Pac going to stop Margarito from coming forward at him throwing big punches? Cotto didn't have the power to back up Margarito, I don't think Pac will either.

Does anyone else remember when boxing was nothing like an episode of "Days of our lives"?

Two hardened fighters are going to be facing each other and some say its fixed, some say its going to be a whitewash one way or the other, and then there are the ones that appreciate a great matchup ,and just look forward to seeing how it all plays out on the night.

LMAO! Margarito will likely be easier work than any of Pacquiao's recent opponents. Quit believing the press releases, hon. You're smoking on a big hype **** right now.
