    cuz i sure did

and thought he looked much softer in the body than he had in the past until he tensed for the cameras, even to the extent of when he 1st took off his shirt i thought, "oh ****, wtf has happened to him"

    question is why

2 reasons i can think of are

he is aging and will now slowly be in physical decline, (now floyd will strike)

or he luckily managed to stop doing whatever training ariza had him doing that was slowing him down

but he certainly looked slower compared to the de la hoya and cotto fight, and weighed less more or less the same for the margarito fight

Only natural for people to slow pass 30.

I tought so too to be honest, he looked much faster vs de la hoya and hatton. I hope it was just the bad camp and the higher weight, the mosley fight will show it. His hands still looked really fast.

I wonder why floyd isnt showing any signs of his age effecting his performances? It should with all those breaks even if he is a gymrat.
luckily for him he can still be very good even with slower feet.

The Pacquiao that fought DLH would've schooled the Pacquiao that fought Margarito imo.

IMHO, Floyd has SIGNIFICANTLY slowed down in recent years. Even if you look at the Baldomir fight, you will see he was much more on his toes, and to some extent, putting punches together. Now, he is much, MUCH more flat footed, and rarely if ever puts punches together.

I would say Floyd's upper body movement and hand speed is still there, but he is losing his legs. Still, he is one of the best ever and I expect him to win a CLOSE decision against Pacquiao should they ever meet.

It's hard to say if he was slower against Marg. He was so big compared to paqc. Paqc had to be more cautious the first two rounds, then he could open up more on him. And that is all she wrote...

Another thing that I have experienced as a small light man who has sparred much bigger men is that some guys, even if they are slow as molasses, know how to be physically present in the fight and make you very tired, even if they aren't landing punches, and you get tired more quickly than fighting someone your size.

Some don't know how to do it, but I think Margarito was somehow effective in just using his size to wear out Manny much more than he has ever been worn out. Clottey was COMPLETELY ineffective in this, ridiculous.

I don't think Floyd would have this effect on Manny. And maybe the talks that his mind isn't entirely on boxing are true, but the tirelessness of the Clottey fight was NOT present in the Margarito fight, he got very tired at some points but still looked great.

He looked the same, once again against a fighter who isnt even a top p4p. Pacquiao needs to fight a fighter who is in his prime and hungry, Not fighters like margacheato and ****ing clottey, joke.
