One of Margarito's sparring partners said something very similar to this.

How come Mayweather and Pac slowed down, yet I am castigated when I stated that JMM slowed down?

Mayweather is definitely less active and less mobile. Pca too tends to find rests of 20 - 30 seconds each round after the first 4-5 rounds. That was noticeable in the Margarito fight.

Pacquiao still looked extremely fast. If he looked slower, it wasn't by much.

Thought he slowed down a bit, agreed with Kellerman. At least slowed down since the Cotto fight. I think it has more to do with taking punishment than age, although age might be part of the equation.

I blame the higher weight but even then he was pretty fast. Lets see how he reacts in the Mosley fight to gain a better evaluation. Eventually he will slow down and aging will effect him especially when you take into account his active, fan friendly style and not too solid defense over the years. That punishment adds up and the reflexes/ability to effectively use timing gets slower. Manny's got a couple of years in him left IMO but at least he makes the most of it by fighting twice a year but after Cotto he sealed his legacy and whatever accomplishment he does adds more icing.

I think its just that he didnt need to be extra fast in that fight against margo. Its not like Margo could cope up easily. Watch his combos, i think it was fast as usual but was more accurate.

He's been getting slower as he moves up in weight but his still fast enough for the big boys.

He is still quicker than ever, stronger, hits harder and tons of stamina. Wishful thinking by the woman hater Void fans want to see Pac as finished because they do not want their coward hero Void to fight him and get knocked out. Void fans want Void to beat up more women!
