Wasent exactly a robbery but how many people agree that Nowski's workrate and winning the first 4-5 rounds, meant he should have being the new EBU champ?
Was it that good? I didn't get a chance to see it. You think that Sosnowski got cheated out of a win? Could you give some fight details?
It was a good scrap. I thought my boy nicked it, but Im not gonna ***** about a draw really.. Sosnowski won in my eyes but id rather have a draw than Pianeta win. Sosnowski was more active than the Macaroni and I think he landed the better and cleaner shots but ehh If Sosnowski had a bit of a better stamina, only one can wonder
Dont think it was really Heavyweight fight of the year. I had a feeling Sosnowski wouldnt get the win. Felt he deserved it though
I thought Sosnowski won but a lot of rounds could have went either way, I wasn't that surprised or dissapointed with a draw.
One of the better heavyweight fights so far this year, but only because a lot of them have been truly pathetic. Anyway, I thought Sosnowski won 7-5, but I wasn't heartbroken when it was called a draw.
Nope.I thought Pianeta just won it actually. The draw was a fair result. I was rooting for the polish fighter, hope he gets more fights.
I for my part had the Pole slightly ahead on points after 12 close rounds, but wouldnt really argue the toss with someone who scored their encounter the other way round. Anyway! To tell the truth I was quite impressed with Pianeta's game and spirited performance in today's fight with the experienced and very decent Pole. Props to both of them for a very good and entertaining heavy weight fight! Pianeta has talent and a huge heart! Very promising young fellow!:good
I think Sosnowski nicked enough early rounds. He got quite a lead based on work-rate, Pianeta was doing virtually nothing. He got better as the fight wore on, sort of reminded me of Abraham how he'd stand there blocking and then get stronger as he warmed into the fight. But I don't really think he did enough to pull it back. 7-5 Sosnowski.
