Anyone else think that Cloud puts a beatdown on Stevenson?

But Dawson is (arguably) the only win on Stevenson's resume that's of note.

Kovalev has beaten Cleverly and Campillo.

 

Dawson alone is better than Cleverly and Campillo.

 

Stevenson has a glass jaw, but Cloud just sucks. Toss up.

 

i wouldn't say Stevenson gets beat down, but it's not out of the question that he gets caught by a big shot and gets counted out.
Stevenson doesn't really have a solid chin, so it wouldn't take many from the big punching Cloud. also, Stevenson isn't afraid to open up with his shots so is there to be hit if you have the confidence to fire back.

Stevenson needs to be careful of that. one shot on the counter and it could be all over. he should be smart and keep it at range. use movement as well, because Cloud is very slow of foot.

but saying that, i still pick Stevenson to get the stoppage late. Cloud will be too cautious because of what is coming back at him. he'll know that it only takes one clean shot from Stevenson to end proceedings there and then.

i'd like to think it will be an action packed fight, but i don't see it happening. good fight but nothing more. look for a repeat performance from Cloud of the Hopkins fight. too cautious to let the hands go to give him a chance. Stevenson all the way.

i've never once seen a good post from him yet. he's too biased because he likes Black Dick.

 

I sorta see it going this^ way too. They can both bang, but will be looking for the big shot, while each trying to stay outta harm's way. It could get exciting if either one lets their hands go a bit and they're forced to trade, but most likely slow and cautious.

It's definitely worth remembering that Cloud's coming off his first career loss, and we've yet to see if that has changed him (mentally or stylistically). Also, whilst the Dawson KO was spectacular, it didn't tell us very much. TBH, you may laugh, but I was more impressed with the George win, where Stevenson showed he can keep up the pressure into the late rounds and still go in for the kill.

I have to go with Stevenson, who I see as physically stronger, more mobile and aggressive, as well as coming off the biggest win of his career, but certainly wouldn't rule out a KO from Cloud, 'specially on the counter.

After watching Campillo beat the crap out of Cloud, I don't expect Cloud to win, but he could land a lucky punch.

Cloud has a good chin and some relevant power. If he chooses to trade big shots with Stevenson I think he could T/K.O Stevenson. Stevenson may have some genuinely K.O power but don't forget that hes a chiny guy whos not so hard to hit.

If I would be Cloud I'd go for the kill/slug against him cuz thats the only chance to fu.ck him up. Cloud's not a technical fighter with skills, speed and high ring IQ to see him outboxing and outmaneuvering his opponent like Ward and Hopkins do but he's heavy handed and he has a good chin.

 

clouds power has diminished greatly as he has stepped up in class.

 

Not so sure, Cloud is slow and crude.

I expect him to get beaten up, quite frankly.

I like Cloud, he's a sound person, but.. I don't think he's that good.
