Anyone else think that Manny would fire Roach if he performs poorly vs Tim?

Everyone is always talking about how they have a bond that cannot be broken, but with Mannys ego and the people around him like Koncz, I wouldnt be shocked at all if the blame is put on Freddie if he underperforms in this next fight and Manny gives him the boot. No fighter-trainer pairing in history has got as much media attention than these two, and if there is one thing the media and fame can do, it is bring people apart.

Lol no way would he do that, just no way. I think he will just retire if he does so.

Yeah, he'd probably retire before that happened.

I just dont see a guy with a ego like Manny admitting hes no longer got it and retiring off a poor performance. Thats rarely ever been the case with great fighters. I hope he does stick with him till he retires, but im not so sure it will be a fairytale ending

He'll fire Roach before Ariza that's for sure. You can't buy those shakes at McDonald's.

Stranger things have happened. You'd have to think he'd consider it, or at the very least, his people would bring it up with him (along with the idea of making a switch away from Ariza).

No way! They are way, way too close for that! Plus without Roach I couldn't see Pac being as good as he is today. No reason for him to fire Roach, Who trained him perfectly for his style because HE ( Pacquiao ) is starting to physically fade.

I'd be pretty shocked. He knows he owes nearly all of his success to Roach's game-plans and technical improvements.

wtf man... Manny DID NOT HAVE a poor performance against JMM. Marquez is a badass ATG, PERIOD. He's on Manny's level. That's why he didn't get blown out.

Unless Bradley shows one hell of a chin, he's going to get ate up by Manny just like everyone else does. Holt showed us that Bradley can be put down hard, but nobody's been able to KEEP him down.
