I wouldn't say it sucked, but it was OK.

I hope not - but with both of their styles, there is always the possibility it will be less than exciting.

there is a distinct possability .... I can see maywether rolling into a defensive ball for most of the night and hatton smothering him

Floyd has the reach advantage here. Whenever he does, that means he is going to whoop ass. Long armed fighters have better chances against floyd. Short armed fighters like Corrales/ Mitchell/ Chavez etc etc usually get beat to the punch and counter punched all night.

depends on ref. if hatton is allowed to get close and fight his fight then it will be a great one. if the ref protects floyd, its a borfest.

Hatton knows that Mayweather doesn't have enough firepower to hurt him so it is likely he will do more punching than holding. He is a very physical fighter so you can expect that Hatton will try to bully Mayweather around the ring. Mayweather, on the other hand, will counterpunch him to an easy victory.

I can see it not living up to the hype. Hatton hitting holding ...holding hitting. Mayweather moving hitting moving hitting. As the fight progress Mayweather will land clean shots and Hatton will look to hold some more.

Yeah, it should definitely be better than DLH-PBF. Floyd will be punishing Hatton like no one has before in his career and it will be fun to watch. Plus my 5-fight parlay only needs Floyd to win to be complete, so I can't wait for this match. The undercard with Ponce De Leon and the Lacy-Manfredo match should be pretty exciting too.

Ref's dpmn't stop fighters from getting close. Now if you mean the ref will not let hatton cheat but holding and hitting then yeah I guess that's protecting floyd.
