Prizefighter works fine for an event featuring a slug out between journeymen. No-one wants to see elite fighters fighting over four rounds.

The only problem I see is the time frame. It seems like round one started ages ago, and we have not even started with the second fights.
I know it's the norm nowadays for fighters to wait 4-6 months between fights, but they should tighten up the schedule for this cool event!

Anyhow, It's still the most exciting thing going on in boxing.

interesting. Froch Dirrell sucked because of Dirrell and not Froch and you think Kessler Ward should have been stopped in the 4th round. How about, Froch's lack of skill played a big part in that one being a stinker and Ward beat the **** out of Kessler regardless of headbutts. Weird you don't mention all the dirty **** Froch did in his fight with Dirrell

Theres a thread on here about how MMA sucks balls, you should probably check it out.

And I think this Super Six is pretty good. I mean yeah, theres a big gap between the fights and all but at the end of the day these are six of the best guys in that weight and they are all fighting each other, yes fights could of been made outside of the Tournament but now they are happening and all the details have already been settled so all thats left to do is fight! Which is what boxing should be about.

I am still enjoying it but I think a straight knockout format would have been better than a mini league because obviously if a fighter gets brutally knockedout in the first 2 fights he wont be interested in fighting in the third fight.

I think the problem is that not enough people know about it outside a die hard fan .

If they had more support from say espn and local news sports more peole would ohave tuned in ..I personally love it ..Wait til rd 2 comes around and we will see whats not working and what is ..

It's fine, just think about this - would we see the three pairings we got in the fall without super six? I sincerely doubt... think they were unlucky with some injuries and pull offs that resulted in a long gap between the rounds, but otherwise it's only positive. The fights were also interesting I found... you can only get one fight to be a fight of the year anyway,...

I think the tournament has been fine so far maybe its been drawn out too long but the best are fighting the best and that is always good. I thought the first round had a good fight in Abraham-Taylor, a decent fight in Ward-Kessler, and a weak fight with a bad decision in Froch-Dirrell. Overall the first round was good.

The second round has a potential fight of the year in Froch-Kessler and I think Abraham-Dirrell should be a decent fight, it should be better than the Dirrell-Froch fight. Ward-Green isn't a bad fight but it does lack the interest the other 2 second round fights offer. But I also think the Taylor who is in the middle of a bad run where he keeps getting ko'ed would get beaten worse than Green will.

So, overall, the tournament has been going well and looks even better for the next round. Except for a few things like the tournament taking a long time and a bad decision in the Froch-Dirrell fight, I've enjoyed this tournament so far.

Whoever wins it becomes a huge star. Its almost like a quick crash course to the top 3 p4p.
