Anyone else think Tim Bradley would actually beat Khan?

Also, that jab is going to be such a good weapon when you've got a 4" height advantage

I personally see it as a very even contest, which makes it more appealing, and is why it should happen. Neither fighter will be a pushover.

 

You dont need to be a TNT puncher to hurt khan. Remember them early fights before Prescott. Feather punching Willie Limmond had him in trouble. So did another not so hard puncher

This fight really is 50-50. We dont know how good both are.

 

That was back when much lesser punchers than Maidana and Judah had Khan over, he is clearly more resistant these days, Maidana hit him with everything, he hurt him yes, but he couldnt put him down and Bradley is nowhere near the puncher Maidana (or prescott for that matter)

 

I see it as a dominating win for Khan, pretty much one sided.

 

That is one thing that really hasn't improved.

 

Khan would knock Bradley out and Bradley knows it, that's why he refused to fight Khan...............

 

It’s a closer fight than I thought at the time of the Maidana bout. Khan does seem to have improved – his side-stepping and jab are much better than before. He also followed the gameplan – as Gabe Montoya pointed out on MaxBoxing, he kept throwing the right hand even though it missed initially. Because Roach knew that eventually Zab would be open for it and he was right.

But Bradley doesn’t fight anything like Zab and has traits that the Brooklyn native will never possess: heart and grit. He comes forward and is adept at taking away the jab. He loops the right hand over the top. Plus his footwork is a LOT better than Khan’s.

Khan’s speed will give him problems early on, but if Bradley’s prepare to be the one attacking behind a tight guard, and he steps around and under Khan’s straight shots, then he will shut down a lot of what makes Khan effective.

The fascinating clash though, as Slip says, is pretty depressing, because it looks like it won’t happen any time soon.

No, not anymore. See it being a comprehensive Khan UD win.

The only way to trouble Khan is with like-for-like speed, or sheer KO power.

Think Bradley has and will continue to duck Khan, so Khan will move up to 147 and hopefully fight Berto. But a fight with Alexander would also be a decent start IMO.

 

This fight for me is dead simple, Khan is too big, and too fast for Bradley, at times Khan would treat Bradley like a little rag doll in there, Bradley 5'6.

Bradley will try his best to come in and at times will, but Khan would make him walk onto alot of shots or turn him or hold him on the inside.

Nonsense. You can trouble Khan with good boxing fundamentals and good timing. He’s off-balance whenever he fires more than three shots in sequence, plus his left hand drops whenever he does.

And Maidana rarely had trouble finding Khan and he’s got sheer KO power. What he lacks though is the boxing IQ to fully take advantage of it.

 

After the Judah fight, I'm now edging towards 50-50, maybe still favouring Bradley slightly more. I still view him as a more complete fighter - one that has proven the ability to fight more than one way. I really don't like his style and he doesn't do anything spectacular, but he always seems to get the job done. He'll make this fight with Khan very messy, I bet.

 

This fight would end in a headbutt, I'm leaning toward Bradley in that regard, his heads looks like it is made out of molten iron.
