i think alvarez is too strong. At the early stages say 1-4, i expect rhodes to land some good counters but the longer it goes i see avarez over powering him.So the complete opposite to you lol. Hope i'm wrong though

    have you seen him fight?

if magic can tag alvarez I see rhodes doing damage.

Umm Rhodes may (may) be able to beat him, but walk through him? I agree Rhodes couldn't walk through a door and seems to have had difficulty with this when it's come to signing up to fights over the past few years...

No way, this will be one of the hardest fights of his career.

i dont see why everyone has bought into canelo, because he whipped magic?? Cotto's brother gave him a tough time and rhodes is a much better fighter.

I am fed up of all the 'Oh oh the gingerbread man is mexican so no one can beat him' comments.

I also think Rhodes will beat him.

No, I don't think it will be easy for either of them but I favour Canelo.

Rhodes is easily the best fighter Canelo has fought so far. The way Rhodes handled Moore has got to give you a bit of hope he will be able to gut it out with a young inexperienced inside fighter like Saul and be more than competitive with him. Saul has been hurt by much smaller men than Rhodes so I can see Rhodes getting his respect in this fight and forcing a change in tactics from Saul who has shown he can do when he needs to. A lot of people have this down as a walk over for alvarez or a comfortable win but when Rhodes shows up for the big occasion he is more than game. Hopefully the inactivity hasn't affected him too much because alvarez will definitely push him until the end. I think Alvarez takes it with his activity but this will be a good fight and Rhodes will definitely have his moments.

I favour Alvarez going in, but I wouldn't be totally shocked by a Rhodes win.

Not sold on old ginger bollocks quite yet.

I think Rhodes has a fantastic chance of pulling this off, be interesting to see how Alvarez adapts after the first 4 if he ai'nt got control juxtaposed of course as to how Ryan's going to go about it as all close rounds ai'nt going in his bank thats for sure. But he's def good enough too win going on what i've seen of Alvarez to date IMO. Seize the Day Ryan!
