Anyone else thought Cintron's 169 with Alfredo's 159lbs showed?

Nope, it was Alfredo being outclassed by Cintron that caused this. Alfredo could have gained the same amount if he wanted, nothing illegal or unfair there.

What ever happened to guys like Trinidad who were as strong in the twelfth as they were in the first? Cintron looked dead after about eight rounds.

i felt bad for angulo, he is one of those no nonsense non-trash talkers,

when people started making a big deal about him and kirkland fighting he just said the best man on the night will win and he cant wait to fight kirkland.

No. Cintron used a style nobody expected.
    Angulo adjusted way too late.
Kermit boxed his ears off, good job!

Kermit looked ready to go about the 11th, Lil' too late.
(He was starting to fold up & looking very familiar)

    Workrate stops Cintron. Avoid Williams.

Nah nah nah . . . it has nothing to do on the weight.

Cintron played a smart fight and it paids out. He outboxed the other guy clearly . . . he dictated the tempo of the fight . . . that's the reason for the victory.

I think more of it had to do with Angulo being drained from being sick. There were times when it looked like he was fighting in quicksand, I mean even slower than usual. Still, after that night, I'd guess that even a healthy Angulo draws with Cintron at best.

Wow! 169!!! Hell yeah, damn i didn't know that! How does he make 147? He must be extremely hard to knock out at 147 unless he's weight drained.

    1. I was more surprised by Angulo not gaining much weight than by Cintron gaining.
    2. I would say that was the difference if Cintron overpowered him. But actually, Cintron won by moving well and using a good jab.
