According to your "Father of MMA," no.

"I'm not concerned about someone who practices 10 thousand kicks. I'm more concerned about someone who practices one kick 10 thousand times."

I was replying to someone else.

But you can't read, and started attacking me.

Read before you attack someone. You look less foolish that way.

    And grow up.

Lmao. You truly are the biggest dip **** ever. You got the quote wrong.

That or you are really a sniveling lying idiot. :patsch:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Here's a list of the quotes:

    Top 10 Bruce Lee Quotes

Here is a short-list of some of Bruce Lee’s most popular and insightful quotes:

    1. “Absorb what is useful, Discard what is not, Add what is uniquely your own.”
    2. “Choose the positive. You have choice, you are master of your attitude, choose the positive, the constructive. Optimism is a faith that leads to success.”
    3. “Don’t fear failure. Not failure, but low aim, is the crime. In great attempts it is glorious even to fail.”
    4. “Empty your mind; be formless, shapeless – like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”
    5. “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks
      This content is protected
, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.”
    6. “It’s not the daily increase but daily decrease. Hack away at the unessential.”
    7. “Mistakes are always forgivable, if one has the courage to admit them.”
    8. “To hell with circumstances; I create opportunities.”
    9. “What is” is more important than ‘what should be.’ Too many people are looking at ‘what is’ from a position of thinking ‘what should be’.”
    10. “When one has reached maturity in the art, one will have a formless form. It is like ice dissolving in water. When one has no form, one can be all forms; when one has no style, he can fit in with any style.”

Lmao, read the other quotes, they are the opposite of orthodox boxing! :think

He does have a seriously big set of plums on him. He sparked out ATG Jose Aldo in 16 seconds who hadn't lost in like a decade, then in his very next fight he moves up from FW to face the horribly beastly LW champ Rafael dos Anjos who had whooped Benson Henderson (via KO1), Nate Diaz, Anthony Pettis, and Donald Cerrone (TKO1) back-to-back. That's 4 fellow beasts on the trot. And then when Dos Anjos pulls out with an injury McGregor moves up to WW to take on Diaz. :admin

McGregor could not be the furthest thing from IVayweather, which makes this thread so tangental it's in another dimension.

Exactly. And what's worse is the way they were comparing Rhonda who was what 12-0? To Mike tyson. Rhonda in a very new sport dominating a dozen other females who have only been fighting a short time. It was a complete joke and then of course Holly wrecked her and ended that joke hype.
And same with conner the moron. This guy is a like comparing a kia to a ferrari, when comparing him and FLoyd. Its a joke but the mma is desperate to get the clout they once had back. With GSP gone, Silva a bum, Iceman, Rampage, etc all gone, they really dont have anyone to save them anymore. Look how pathetic their heavyweight division is now, bunch of fat bar brawling bums.

However i still may watch while I pray diaz beats this idiot

Almost all of those quotes are totally irrelevant.

I'm willing to bet you once read the art of war and are now under the misapprehension that you're intelligent.

I'm willing to bet he might have read the cover.

But he isn't a reader, clearly.

A lot of his teachings are philosophical and come from even Sun Tzu lol, and a lot of eastern religion like Daoism with the formless water. Put into context, a lot of what he was saying had to do with the Chinese martial arts hierarchy, which he was not allowed to be a part of because he cast aside their system in favor of whatever technique or form that worked for him. But ah back to your jab, what if I never read art of war?

Dos Anjos is rated #7 on the P4P list and Aldo must've been top 2 at the time.

McGregor is a good talker and genuinely witty too.

You're assuming and jumping to conclusions. The same thing can be said about MMA fans who absolutely can't take any criticism.

It's not my argument but he wasn't putting down boxing. Then you started with the mma fighters are low talent monkies nonsense. Why the need to put them down? They're like in the same boat more or less as a combative sport/career.
