Yes but it was nothing personal to him. His fans and others who thought he would win were giving little substance to thier claims while ignoring the logic behind post that explained exactly what happened last night.

Sounds as though the fight was competitive until the last couple rounds? Then it sounds like Sergio's jab started working overtime, and he took the fight over. He was just getting hit by too many jabs. how critical was the situation the last couple rounds?

 

Sergio went from 2 punch combos to 4 and 5 punch combos that ripped pavlik's face open and backed him up/snapped his head.

It was beautiful.

 

Pavlik took a full fledged beating the last 4 rounds in which he was hit with every clean punch in the book and NOT TOO MANY OF THE SHOTS WERE JABS. Power punches and it almost seemed that kelly gassed out as well as couldn't see sergio's straight left that landed all through the last 4 rounds frequently.

 

The situation was very critical. Not only was Pavlik being jabbed, he was getting double jabbed. The very worst thing that could ever happen.

 

No, but I enjoyed seeing Sergio win the MW titles as am a fan and felt he deserved the decision against Williams. (was also clearly robbed vs Cintron)
