I sparred for the first time in almost a year tonight against a guy with 100 fights. I did really good, but my defense was leakier than usual and I got hit with more punches than I would have liked. Ever since, I've been feeling dizzy and sick.

    anyone ever feel like this?

sounds like you have mild concussion. I've never felt dizzy or sick but i have had a banging headache the day after and one time felt quite out of it for a day or two.

Yep. Not so much sick, but just dizzy for a good few hours afterward and neck pains. I would say it's natural, but I just started sparring again so not sure. You should worry if its a persistent problem though.

Ive had that in a very similar context. Went to a big regional training and got put in with a very top level guy (which I never was). Wanted to prove my point so I went to war with him and gave him a much tougher time than expected but ate a ton of punches in the process. I had what you have for a few days and it sounds like a mild concussion.

Mild concussion, take it easy for a few days and you should be fine.
As long as you didn't pass out, throw up, you should be ok.
The **** thing with concussions is once you start getting them you get them easier, so be careful and work on not getting hit as much!

Sounds like dehydration, concussion, or combination. Def get it checked out just in case and don't spar until you've felt good for a week.

My problem is that I feel dizzy and sick WHILE sparring, in addition to after lol. Such is life.
