Foreman was exposed in this fight- he couldn't handle movement and was losing the round when he landed a lucky punch. With modern nutrition and training, Freddie Prinze would beat Foreman easily.

Yeah, I saw this when watching a Doco on Freddie Prinze. Sad. He had the world at his feet when he passed. Very popular and he could hold a tune also. Big George was a good sport.

Word! Chico had great potential. 6’1” in height, an easy 240 lb beast in today’s market.

Looks just like the knockdown George faked in Zaire.

Super Dave Osborne as ‘Billy’ joining Dick Van Dyke on commentary too!

Incidentally, I consider Dave Osborne to be the greatest daredevil/stunt performer of all time, ahead of Evel Knievel.

(I only recently learned that Super Dave was Albert Brooks’ brother. Imagine the world’s greatest daredevil and one of Hollywood’s funniest personalities growing up under the same roof.)

The speed. The athleticism. The length. Prinze beats Marciano.

Can’t vouch for its veracity but a quick story from Freddie Prinze Jr relating how his Dad managed to draw blood from The Greatest: -

Strong Hagler-Hearns vibes from this brilliant scrap.

For a fleeting moment there, Chico was The Man.
