This fight isn’t getting talked about much. I know no one asked for it or probably even thought about it happening but it should be an exciting fight. Anyone hyped for it, I am:D

i am. barrios is a local boy, im wishing the best for him. i actually think he can win, and i dont have to stray from reality to see it. tank dont know. everything is going to be different, and sparring will not prepare him for it. your punches will have less effect than youre used to, their punches will have more effect on you than youre used to. all that changes how a fight develops. as the fight goes rds, tank will tire more than hes used to, while barrios will have lost less in his tank, cause hes used to bigger dudes.

I am. See if Tank can do something at 140. Barrios is a decent test.

Barrios has a decent shot here, hes gotta use his size on put tons of pressure on tank, but From Tank it only takes one shot, we'll see how well Barrios can take a punch, if not he's getting koed inside 5 rounds.

No, there is more interesting and intriguing fight in the same night, Loma vs Nakatani, AND it's free to watch. No PPV for tank, sorry.

Tank looks very short next to Barrios. If Barrios knows how to use his height, he can win the fight. Jab his head off, be patient and look for the openings. Easier said than done, but doable.

I always like to watch Tank fight, but this is bull****. He should be fighting one of the other potentials at LW. He should leave Floyd. Floyd just wants him as a prestige toy. Like one of his sports cars or a racehorse or big tittied arm candy. He's gonna go out like Gamboa did w/Fiddy if he hangs around w/Floyd much longer.

Not only could he possibly end up like Broner, but he could end up like Luis Nery did last week. Barrios is no joke, and quite frankly, I don't think Tank's power was all that at 135, he could barely stop a one legged glass jawed Gamboa, he did slightly better than featherfisted Haney. So it could be even more diminished at 140. This is a terrible idea IMO, and I not only think Barrios is a banana peel, but that he'll stop Davis. He's not all that different stylewise from LSC, who was giving him fits before the stoppage. Only he's 3 division north. Also, I'd argue with the point that he isn't a very skilled fighter & hasn't fought anybody noteworthy, because the reality is, Batyr Akhmedov might be more skilled than anyone Tank has fought aside from Pedraza, and while I thought the scorecards were iffy, the fact that not only did Barrios hang with Batyr, but he dropped him twice, and he's a VERY heavy handed southpaw used to taking the punches of other 140lbrs. So yeah, Stank might be ****ed, Luis Nery bullied by a much bigger bully style.. so yeah, I'm quite excited for it.:D

I'd like to think you are right but I think Mayweathers team have chosen Barrios for a reason.. Hopefully this cherry isn't ripe for picking

Good test for Tank... and I'd rather he move up and takes on, what seems to be a stern test, instead of boiling down in to a weight class he has outgrown.
