Really wanted to have a better look at JJ but there's **** all footage available, even the video of his one round upset is of terrible quality and you can barely make out what's going on.

What do you think Eubank's ceiling is, Butt? A solid top of his class British level operator? Meaning not world class, but about 3/4 quarters of the way there. Good enough to challenge world class fighter. Where as JJ would be operating at more of a small regional level top dog, fighting for "Irish" belts and dipping his toes in that kind of water and what not.

Someone like Yildrim would be a moderate European level talent. I feel this like this should theoretically all make a lot of sense...

Eubank is way above British level. He is world level.

Well you can perform a forum search for his full name with the additional criteria of "posted by" me, and some of my past RBR calls of his fights will come up...but they're from several years back. If that's of any help (obviously no substitute for seeing with your own eyes, but..) :nusenuse:

Eubank is above British level, I'd say top end of Euro level, but yeah not quite world. He just can't put all the pieces together, doubt he will ever.

Groves > Smith > CEJ > Yildirim > McDonagh, yes.

Any idea why people were calling robbery against that Canadian prospect? Was it anything approaching competitive?

Competitive sure, and ugly, but wouldn't say robbery.

Was just going to post it.

I immediately noticed how badly JJ's right eye swelled up from a single round a passive feel out boxing. "Slick" is more than likely a very poor nick name for this guy.

We’ve all seen him fight against Jake Ball. He’s a traveller, before this year he’d had 16 fights in 7 years so he wasn’t v active. We all think/know (as stated on this thread) that it’s an easy nights work for Junior. Junior is going to use him as a platform to showboat before forcing a stoppage. He’ll mark up

Yeah but Jake Bell is a china chinned prospect and that gave us an entire like 45 seconds of footage to evaluate JJ on. I'm doing research on the guy for a reason, I need to get the best feel I can on this guy and his ability.

Be interesting to see if he has addressed anyof the faults in his game. Has he developed a jab? , footwork etc...??

Or will it. Be just the same old unimproved windmilling we've always got from CEJ? ??

I believe it, he's reliably gotten rid of his C-Level opponents so no reason to start doubting him now.

I think Jr should win easily but I wonder by what method

If JJ comes out swinging I think he gets planked
If he comes out rough housing and fighting dirty than he could give Jr a lot of trouble

Try to keep the fight at range and just tie him up/rag doll him when they are on the inside.

That is basically the key for JJ to put up a fight.

How much trouble can he give? BoxRec has him 177th in the world.
