The guy has a ton of talent and is one of my favorite fighters currently but wtf sign with Don King? King has defaulted on payments, purse bids and cancelled fights all within the last couple months. Not to mention what he as done in the past with his fighters.-(

Just a shame if he dicks Devon with bull****. Arum and Golden Boy are dicks as well but not as bad as Don.

    Im just sayin...

I'm surprise you talking bad about King when you have a former fighter in your avatar that was one of King fighters lol.

I just rewatched the Alexander_Urango fight last night.

Man Alexander has some serious skills. Its a little odd i hadnt seen any of him until that fight. I keep a pretty close watch on upcoming boxers.

As far as the 140 pound division i think Alexander could actaully rule it.
Im a huge huge Bradley fan but i think the difference here is the chins.
Alexander took plenty of flush hooks from Urango and never once flinched, he just kept coming forward.
As far as Bradley. He doesnt have a bad chin but he has been dropped before and a guy that can TKO Urango will more than likely have the power to drop him.

That jab is so crisp and powerful.

I say make Alexander-Bradley now and find out who the real LWW champion is!!!!

I can imagine why considering Devon was making peanuts before even though it's clear now he was talented enough to make a great living in the sport. Now that he's got a champion's payday and made 10 times what he was fighting for prior to it, it's no small wonder he's happier.

That's also why I don't have a problem with him milking a couple of easier defenses before he fights someone like Bradley. Let the man get paid a couple times and get a little more seasoning, then let a superfight develop in due time as the logjam of quality fighters at 140 works itself out. I just hope King doesn't waste 3 years of Alexander's time for those 2 easier defenses like he's prone to do.

Devon is at the stage of his career, where he is probably beginning to feel all his sacrifices has finally paid off, and the boxing world has taken notice and they know who devon alexander is. Now that they have taken notice what is he prepared to do next? I see the hunger in this kid and he wants it bad. Don King will get some big pay days in the future with Devon. Remember he is still young.

Why would any talented fighter sign with King these days.

He ****ed so many people over during the Tyson era, that now nobody wants to work with him.

Spinks just went thru a whole training camp & King cancelled the fight for some bull**** reason.

Devon should just get the ball rolling & sue King right now.

Don King is becoming a wasteland for fighters careers right now. I don't know why someone would sign with him. Really makes you wonder who is advising Tavoris Cloud. Right now though I feel worse for Cunningham than Alexander. Too many guys under King simply don't fight enough.

I feel bad for any fighter that signs with Don King. I would choose Golden Boy for $, and Arum for legacy, because if you sign for Arum, you will be used as a warhorse.

Arum and Warren are on the same level as king and are the most relevent in thier regions. No need to **** on King. These guys took his blueprint and ran with it.

King just isn't on top now so he can't do those things that goldenboy and arum do. King used to encompass all of the things you wrote about the above promoters. Golden boy are some clowns too.
