Totally agree with that comment. So..no I don't feel at all sorry for him at all. Even if he is in financial trouble (as someone said earlier) he had a million quid and blew it. The man is arrogant and delusional. He should retire now before everyone forgets that he won an Olympic gold medal and just see's him as a nobody. I reckon he would make a good commentator/summariser on Sky/Setanta.
He should do a Sprott/Williams/Skelton and go Germany to fight whatever prospect they put in front of him. Eventually he could get a win like Sprott and get seom decent opportunities. That's where all the heavyweight action seems to be so if he's serious should do that, maybe give Dimitrenko/Povetkin etc an easy warm-up for Wladimir, but could still be good chances for him, on paper at least.
Not really, I think Audley's arrogance is the main reason why the British public haven't warmed to him. He honestly believes he's the best thing since sliced bread in the heavyweight division but he's not even the best in the UK. I think he should just accept he will never be anything other than Olympic champion. It's a different game in the pro ranks.
Bang on. I'd forgotten about when he said he'd beat Williams in his fifth fight - very disrespectful. He just never looked bothered - perhaps people disliked him partly because of his arrogance and partly out of frustration that he wasted his talents.
when you talk like he does it is because you are empty inside..........you talk so much **** to fill the void he is nothing no heart a ****ing ***** he got courage for getting in a ring but when you talk like him............you expect so much more Audley thinks he desrves everything on a platter like just beacuse of who he believes he is everything would happen for him so easy
Anybody who delights in the downfall of another human is a cancerous blob on the rectum of humanity and speaks volume about how empty they are.
A-Fraud showed no respect to the pro game, to his British heavyweight contemporaries, and has paid the price. He turned off most real boxing fan within months of joining the pro ranks with the crap he talked, and his ridiculous ego. He got what was coming. I would be happy for him to prove me and the many other doubters wrong, but i think my money is fairly safe.
The funny thing is Harrison ranks with Williams, Sprott and Skelton. They are all low in achievements relatively speaking and have turned in poor performances. No one hates them continously cos they didn't **** our money away and talk stupid for so long. Skelton recognises his ability, Williams will say Tyson was past it etc Harrison just talks about unified champ by next year blah blah blah Harrison should have just got in the ring and fought and not spoken about being above domestic until he proved he was. When he finally got in the ring with his domestic rivals he only proved he is their EQUAL!
He's a ***** but i still feel sorry for him. He was nearly tearful in that post fight interview with his 'yes i can' t-shirt on, repeating himself in the act of trying to convince himself. I actually want a hollywood happy ending but fairytales are rare.
At least Skelton and Williams have shown balls - don't know too much about Sprott to be honest. Williams has fought with a dislocated shoulder and had the balls to get in the ring with Klitschko - whom nobody fancied after he gave Lewis a good run for his money.
