Anyone find Ward's team suspicious?

I don't know why but I just detest Ward. Something about him I don't like.

But instead, I like Dirrell..

 

Add to that his association with drug lord Conte and real question marks appear. But hey he's calling himself the 'Son of God' so he must be ok, and being the 'Son of God' allows you to use your head as a third fist because you are one damn righteous holy man. It's a shame because I believe Ward has the talent but his conduct in and out of the ring is dubious to say the least.

 

What conduct is that? Living a clean life? Not trash talking? Always showing up in shape? Being respectful to people in general? You think that's "dubious conduct"? :huh

 

Not fighting outside of his hometown? Fighting one of the dirtiest fights ever to win a title?

 

If he's always in such great shape why does he need Conte????!!!!! As for his respectful demeanour given his actions so far that is a smokescreen. And as far as respect goes, how about the lack of it Ward and Dirrell have both shown to their fellow Super Six competitors with this vile little pact they've come to. People say that Goossen is giving Ward bad press but don't believe a word of it. Ward is on exactly the same page as Goossen and they both deserve each other. The first time either of them had to give a little ground so that it's not 100% their own way they shaft everyone else.

 

Even tho he has only fought there 3 times? And clearly dominating a man before the ACCIDENTAL headbutts happened?

Sorry to break it down fellas, but Ward is the best in the division, and is clearly the most talented and versatile fighter. Sorry. :hi:

Wards a ****ing billy goat and his humble man image is all bull****. Dudes a wolf in sheep skin so he can kiss my ass for being a two faced ****. In the ring he can be impressive but can also be boring...I have no problem with this...I like him as a fighter but he's nothing special...

 

Bute knocked out Andrade in Andrade's backyard....plus Bute fought a huge amount of qualitiy fighters. Ward headbutted two good oppenents in his backyard and now fighting a guy Bute dispatched 3 yrs ago. Okay, Ward is obviuosly not a bad fighter, but we want to see him outside hometown and fighting some more good fighters.

 

You do know boxing is a business yes? Ward fights in Oakland because he draws good attendance there. As far as being a dirty fighter that's your opinion. It's like arguing a baseball player was safe when called out. I'll accept Ward as a dirty fighter when he get's DQ'd or having a point taken away for that matter :good

 

All fighters are wolves in sheep skin some more than others.

 

Jerry Rice has an association with Conte so does every major athlete in the SF Bay Area. If you're trying to imply that Ward is on steriods it would help your credibility if you had a shred of proof :good

It wasn't about management, BD, it was Ward that turned Green 'n Kessler impotent. Ward may not carry dynamite or be charismatic, but he's a helluva well-schooled fighter.
