Bottom line Ward beats Kessler and Green anywhere in the world, it's irrelevant where the fights were held. I understand the "home field" advantage aspects, and those things are important, but only in a situation where all other variables are relatively even. In this instance, it's not that big of a deal because Ward beat the **** out of both convincingly, and it really wouldn't matter if the fights were held on the Moon.

I love how he fought dirty with (both)...you could definitely argue, Kessler and Green and won. With most (not all) yanks praising him, yet the likes of Hatton mugging people off (as Ward has, yes he boxes better than Ricky, but still mugs you off ala Hatton in a way though, elbows, shoulders and forearms, shitty clinching fairly often) yet Ricky, or even Froch's crude style gets **** on by people, golden example of double standards....... Ward will be sparked eventually and exposed.

Whether it be Abraham or Froch, he tries that against the winner of them he will get his comeuppance, Showtime hype job, so the yanks will tune in meaning more dollar, across the pond we're not fooled, the peanut head will be cracked.

No. I find S6 suspicious. Goosen paid showtime off. plain and simple.
He paid dirrell to pull out and talked kirshmann into giving ward 2 pts
for the pullout:wtf and then gets ALL his fights in oakland. Too many
coincidences, and i don't beleive in coincidences. Goosen is paying for ward to win this tourney, and he'll make his money back because all
roads will lead to ward at '68. Good scheme by goosen. Now we know
why kirshmann was so secretive about this. He was :tdh well.............
    getting goosened.

I recently watched a couple of rounds(quit watching after 2) of the Ward vs Green monstrosity and I realized how bad Ward clinches and holds. I rewatched the 2 rounds to count exactly how many times he clinched and held, I guess the "new" clinching and holding is called "infighting" by majority of posters on ESB.
I counted a total of 23 clinches/holds in TWO rounds, averaging a total of 138 clinches and holds in a 12 round fight.
Now if my fellow ESB posters don't see anything wrong or illegal in that, then I have no comment.
If I were fighting Ward, I would make my team warn the referee about the EXCESSIVE use of holding and clinching. I wonder what a future Ward fight would look like if Joe Cortez was officiating.

I think Ward would have beaten Kessler and Green anywhere but he needs to fight Abraham or Froch away, these guys have had to travel and so should Ward.
