Anyone finding the Froch-Kessler II build up a little cringe-worthy?

Shame Froch kept talking about Calzaghe in post-fight interviews, on the pre-Pascal build up show, and when he was fighting Jones Jr.

I have never once seen you make a positive post about Froch, which is odd considering all the positive things there are surrounding him.

All I see from you on him is negativity. It can be anything from him apparently being poor in an interview, to somehow criticising his unbelievable record!

This is a man who's constantly fought the best, and gone around the world to do it. His bird is fit as ****, he's been voted as the coolest man in the country, he's taken less money to get big fights, he's gone out of his way to fight the best, has been regularly involved in FOTY candidates and is very confident.

If someone was truly a fan of the above then I'd have expected to see the odd positive post on the matter, yet all I see is negativity. Why don't you just admit you can't stand him, you're biased against him and can't be objective? I ****ing can't stand Nathan Cleverly and will admit I'm biased against him. No shame there, **** happens.

I didn't downplay his win over Pascal or Taylor. They were solid, solid wins. He lost to Dirrell on most fair cards, he clearly lost to Kessler. He did a number on Abraham, who had already been shown up by Dirrell. Good performance and a good opponent.

Johnson... fine. Old and clearly faded, but good enough to beat most journeymen/fringe contender types. Ward schooled him. Bute was a good win and a great performance.

But context matters. Does smashing Yusef Mack really scream "PPV" to you?

Look at my posts building up to the Ward fight, or after the Bute fight. I admire the guy massively for his attitude and wanted him to beat Ward.

I didn't comment on the Wossy thread. I didn't say it wasn't a good record, I said it wasn't a PPV-worthy one. Nonito Donaire's run in the last two years is better than Froch's.

All things I admire. Regularly involved in FOTY candidates? He's been involved in two.

Oh ****, you've figured me out. I'm a secret hater. God forbid I just don't have the gigantic hard-on so many on here have for Froch!
